Sabie's Day So Far

4 people in the office... what a quiet afternoon... you can almost hear a pin drop.

Was supposed to have a session with my client at 2.30pm, but 45min before the session, my client called to say she can't make it... so it was postponed till next week. So I had a short debrief with 1 of my colleagues instead as I had observed her session earlier this morning.

I brought 2 personal items from home to work today. One of them is my rabbit bookmark, on which is printed "In every thing give thanks" (1 Thess 5:18). Another is an encouragement card inserted into a transparent photo frame with the verse "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Phil 4:6-7). I had been wanting to bring them to office for a long time, but er... just never got down to doing it. Cos I carry a lot of things to work each day and my bag always feels so heavy that I don't want to carry any other thing. Finally, today is the day :)

I put up the rabbit bookmark on the left of my workstation using blu-tack. And I place the photo frame on the right of the PC monitor. I feel very encouraged myself when I look at them because the Word of God is a faith builder, and all the more when I have it literally right in front of my eyes. They remind me that I don't have to panic or get bewildered should things go wrong, but that I can always pray to God and choose to be positive. :)

Okay... I must go do case closure summaries and prepare for tomorrow's session. Then going for BS in the night.... Byeeeee!
