This evening I had curry chicken for dinner again. But it is quite different from the one I had for lunch. My mother prepared it this time round as she wanted to try out the recipe for Ayam Buah Keluak, a traditional Nonya dish and a form of chicken curry. For this dish, lemon grass, assam and Buah Keluak "nuts" formed part of the ingredients.

Oh, from what I read... there's also such a thing as Ayam/Babi Buah Keluak. See pic below... (**Meiling, 'babi' in this context here is the word for pork ribs!!**)
