BREAK-TIME

Audrey, Li Ching and Khee Ling are having a good time in the pantry now eating dessert, chatting and laughing. Khee Ling was on her way out to buy something to eat and asked who wanted. For me, I munched on a big sugar donut just now that I bought from the bakery after lunch and still have some cheese buns with me. One might wonder how come staff here seem to have tea breaks pretty often... well, this is the culture here and we like it this way. One can never go hungry here too! :)

Speaking about the bakery, just now Joanna accompanied me to buy the buns and donut. In the midst of selecting the buns, there came from the radio a very old Chinese song 无言的结局. That song was a song that my brother and I liked to listen to and even sing when we were little children. Though it's a very adult song about separation, I think as kids we didn't really bother that much about the meaning behind it as long as the singers sounded good and the tune catchy. I even purposely stayed longer in the bakery just to listen to the song till it ended haha...

Still have a lot of case notes to clear... wonder when I will ever catch up.

Tomorow afternoon I'm going for Staff Orientation at HQ and then will be back in office for night duty.

Everyone's back to work at their places so I guess I'd better get back to my case notes too.

Tea breaks sound good. My office is all about folks taking cigarette breaks.....and I don't smoke. I'm getting ripped off trying to stay alive.
