Daybreak's Christmas Breakfast Party

Me and my colleagues had an early Christmas celebration over breakfast in the meeting room this morning. Food was contributed by various ones, and we all had a rather fun and relaxing time. Instead of switching on the room lights, we used a table lamp and put on a CD that played contemporary-style Christmas carols. As usual, I went around taking pictures... Hazel and Kumar also took pics with their digital cameras.

There was actually some sort of dress code for today that my colleagues were discussing about yesterday... since it's a Christmas thingy, they said that we should all come in either red or green. So I went home yesterday to find a green top, and went to work in that today. To my surprise, however, I saw that most of my colleagues wore white instead! What I wasn't aware of, was that they had it all planned! And I was kept in the dark! Hee... But they didn't really plan it in such a way as to 'sabo' me lah... they are very nice people actually :) Just felt the whole thing was so funny... :)

After breakfast, we were all so full that none of us went out to get lunch in the afternoon. In the late afternoon, we had very nice ice-cream log cake... cool and refreshing!

Time of feasting! Lots of food... see the round blueberry pie/strudel?

Candle and tealight formation

Hotdogs with pineapple cubes... and a bowl of tuna at the corner

2 different types of ham!!

Laura's bread

Japanese cripsy seaweed chicken... my dad heated up the entire packet this morning... all was gone by late afternoon hee hee...

Me in green today :) Posted by Picasa
