MY V-DAY

Valentine's Day was simple for me. Went to work, went to church, went for supper, then came home. :)

Work yesterday was... hmmm... I can't even remember off-hand now. Never mind... all I can remember was that I had a session and that I was trying to clear some other stuff. Oh, my Centre has just employed a new admin assistant, Joanna. She reported for work on Monday and she's a very sociable and bubbly lady. Enjoy talking to her :) Also, my Centre's new Director, Choi Foong, also just came in last Monday. She's an Indonesian pastor's wife and she has a 9-month old son whose name is Steadfast. Yes, that's right... Steadfast... very unique and interesting... missed the opportunity to see her son on Monday as I left office earlier to go and collect some work-related stuff from the National Youth Council. Heard he's very cute!

Ok, I just recalled... Li Ching and I wore the same colour clothing yesterday. Bright pink... took a photo together with her.

After work, went for prayer meeting with Isabel, Gary, Meiling and Yuhao at Jurong West. Then went to eat with Meiling and Isabel at the coffeeshop opposite church. Managed to reach home half an hour before midnight, thanks to Gary who kindly gave me and Isabel a lift to the North area.

It was good spending the evening part of V-day with the God who loves me, and in the company of good friends. I got a Hershey's chocolate bar from Yuhao (which my dad kept in the fridge) and virtual flowers from Meiling in her 'Happy V-day' sms (which is still in my inbox). Had my smiley face flower beside me too as I slept last night. And that was all. Nice and simple. :)
