Entwining Myself Around God

I was feeling a bit groggy today when I woke up. Perhaps didn't catch enough sleep the night before and also for the past few nights. After lunch with my parents I came home first and went online for a while. After feeling kind of groggy still, I switched off the PC, went into my room and played the "Cross" CD. With the music on, I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes to get some rest. I fell asleep actually and woke up again after about 1 hour or so.

Upon waking up, I proceeded to praise and worship God using Disc 1 (Tracks 1, 6, 7, 8) of the "Cross" album. When it came to worship, I remembered one aspect that Pastor Kong taught us about worship this week... that is, to entwine ourselves around the Presence of God. I realised that I usually see worship only as far as God coming to embrace me and to fill me with His Presence. But it came as a revelation to me to boldly step into His Presence and entwine myself around Him. So with that in mind, I put aside everything I had and just worshipped God, just longing for more of Him, simply drawing near to Him. And I felt very close to God as His tangible Presence came into my room again and grew ever stronger than before. :) And I felt very refreshed and happy after that. :)
