Nightmare

Last night, it was my turn to have a weird dream... and not just weird, it was frightening! I remember switching off the room light at around 1.30am and then I plopped down onto my bed. Barely had I closed my eyes for approximately a few minutes when suddenly, I felt my face in a whole lot of pain. I had started to dream but I didn't realise that and thought it was really happening.

In my dream, both sides of my cheeks had started swelling up at fast speed until they were red and stiff... it felt so painful that I thought my cheeks, and my entire face, were about to blow up any moment! I got up and ran to my parents' room... running to them and praying for healing at the same time... that was mostly what I could remember, for the next moment, I woke up and then realised that it had been a nightmare. The night was still young and I wondered how all that happened. But recalling it just sends shivers down my spine....

This morning when I woke up again, thank God that the effect of the nightmare had worn off... it was a cool and rainy morning... and I made my way to work. Upon entering the staff room, Lynn saw me and told me she had bought a packet of vegetarian bee hoon for me for my lunch. :) It was totally unexpected... really thank God for this blessing :)

I was supposed to accompany a colleague to do a home visit this morning too, but in the end it was postponed till next week. So I can use the freed-up time to explore the SPSS and work on the data entry, which is what I have been doing the last 3 hours. So much for a blogging break... back to SPSS now.
