1ST DAY OF CHINESE NEW YEAR

Woke up at 9.30am. Felt kind of concuss from staying up so late last night. Nevertheless, the tiredness soon left me as I ate my breakfast of curry chicken, eggs fried with prawns and plain rice. My parents then left for their church service while I went online for a while and then had my quiet time. At about 1pm, I was all changed and ready to go downstairs and wait for my brother to come and fetch me.

Setting off in brother's car... on our way to Tan Tock Seng Hospital taxi stand to pick up our parents where they were waiting after their service ended. After picking them up, we headed for Patricia's house

Arrived! My first packet drink of the day -- Ribena! Fitting for a ribenaberry! We had lunch here too... Patricia's mother prepared delicious vegetarian bee hoon and mee and also curry chicken.

Patricia did a very cool-looking highlight for her hair!

Here is her super cute owl! :)

Next destination... my mum's 2nd youngest sister's place. Took a pic for my parents against the greenery background here

I want one as well

This background is nice too... Brother helped to take for me

Was supposed to have another uncle's place to visit after this, but it was time for my family to go over to my dad's elder brother's place for dinner, so we left. When we reached, the timing was just nice. Every uncle, auntie, cousin and those who had kids with them all arrived one after the other. After my uncle (who is the host) gave thanks for the food, we began our dinner of KFC, Pizza Hut's pizza, roasted duck and sharks' fin soup.

My cousin Maisie here, who is a welfare officer at SAVH (S'pore Association of the Visually Handicapped)

Off to our last destination for the day... house of my dad's 1st youngest sis

Introducing my 2 cousins Robin and Abel... they crack the funniest jokes!!

Another cousin of mine, Brian, who is also Maisie's elder brother Posted by Picasa

We left around 11.20pm. Was kind of tired already after returning home, but was happy too because I received lots of ang pows today :) Also, I got to try the different brands/types of pineapple tarts from house to house, something which I always look forward to doing every Chinese New Year, because pineapple tarts are my fav New Year goodies. So much for now... will retire soon for the night. Will open my ang pows only after I finish collecting all. Today was a happy day! :)
