Holidays are always the best time for me to find an excuse to sleep late. Since there isn't really much to do tomorrow except to visit relatives, and since my parents would be attending their church service first thing in the morning while I'd be at home, I thought I'd stay up a little later tonight and watch some VCDs. And yes, you might have guessed it, I was watching Leslie Cheung's concert VCD for the past 2 hours.

This time round, I watched his 1989 tearful farewell concert 'Final Encounter of the Legend' at the Hong Kong Coliseum. He was in his early 30s then and his vocals were so smooth. There was one song entitled 'The Wind Continues To Blow' where he sang until he broke down and wept. I personally like this song very much even though it is a very sad song. This was also the song that catapulted him to popularity among the public because he had sung it so skillfully and beautifully. And I found the English translation of this song's lyrics as well as many of his other songs on the web.

Halfway through, my mother came to join me and applied nail polish on my toenails for me. She was doing hers at first and wanted to do mine. I don't have the habit of painting my toenails at all, not even my fingernails, although I loved doing that in kindergarten... so I hesitated. But after some persuasion from my mother, I said ok in the end.

It's 4.25am... guess I'd better go and sleep now.
