HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DADDY

My father turns 60 today! To celebrate, we had a sumptuous international buffet lunch at the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel. My parents love the food there, especially my mother, who has been there several times with her colleagues. So today, they really ate to their hearts' content (me too!) :)

Every year, whenever my family celebrates birthdays, buffets are what we usually go for, either at hotels, in shopping malls or at open-air places. If not, then we'd eat at a Chinese restaurant and order ala carte dishes.

So that was what we did for the entire Saturday afternoon. After a nap, watched the variety show 'PSC Nite' (Pu Wei Zhi Ye) with my father. We were all too full to have cake after the buffet, so we'll eat the cake tomorrow when my bro and sis-in-law comes over for dinner.
