Gary, Meiling, Tristan, Estee, Isabel, Yuhao and I met up for dinner this evening at Suntec Marche. It has been a long time since we went out together with Tris and Estee, so thought it would be a great time to catch up with them.
I tried the Jumbo Chicken Leg (picture below) which is not bad... had to wait 25min for it though. Meiling ordered the same thing too but halfway through eating, she discovered that parts of the chicken were not thoroughly cooked and could even see a bit of blood in it! So Yuhao helped to take the food back to the chef who grilled it for a little while more before sending the food back to our table.

After dinner, we wanted to go to River Hongbao but as we walked on and on, we couldn't find it nor see it anywhere. Some of us were saying that the venue for this year has changed, so probably that's why. So we headed back to Suntec Convention and went separate ways there. As I was approaching my station, I received an sms from my mother asking me to meet her and my father at basement NTUC. NTUC closes at midnight tonight, and they were doing some New Year grocery shopping. So I went to meet them and ended up buying a jar of 'Glory' pineapple tarts and a 6-pack Nissin Seafood Tom Yam cup noodles (the purple one).
