ENROLED!

I have officially enroled for the Class 3A Driving Course for Automatic Transmission Vehicle (ATV) this evening! :) I am very happy to have signed up, because I've been putting it off for a really long time now since last year if I remembered correctly. Have just been so, so busy with everything else so learning how to drive wasn't exactly a priority for me all this while. But now, under the strong encouragement of my mum, brother and sister-in-law, I'm glad to have taken the first step towards owning a driving license!

I went to SSDC (Singapore Safety Driving Centre) earlier, already a bit blur on the inside because in my mind, all I thought was just to sign up for my Basic Theory Test. However, after my brother helped to clarify and make further enquiries with the counter staff, we found out that there was going to be a briefing at 7pm this very evening for those who are interested in enrolling for the various driving courses. We looked at our watches and it was 6.50pm! Thank God, just in time! Within the next 10 minutes, my brother and I went up quickly to Level 2 of the centre to attend the briefing (It was a good thing my brother was with me, otherwise I would be even more nervous and unsure about everything that was going on).

After the entire briefing which lasted less than 30 minutes, I went down immediately to Level 1 again to enrol and pay for the course. The course will involve me taking the centre's trial theory test first before I can proceed on to the Basic Theory Test. From there, I will then go on to Final Theory Test and Practical, and will be allowed to make use of the circuit facilities there to learn and revise for my practical while doing the theory. All this within one year. My sister-in-law was twice as excited for me because she went through the same course 1 year ago and today she can drive!

One year from now, I hope to be able to drive too! And have a car, haha... :) My brother says a new car is very affordable nowadays. My mother says to go get a car after I get my license. Seems like so far away, but my brother was so encouraging just now. When I reached home, he sent me an sms saying: "Pastor talks about releasing our potential. I already see you driving your new car". When I saw that, I was very touched in my heart.

I've already booked my trial theory test to be held next Monday evening. I will study hard!! :)
