MY BIRTHDAY
On the eve of my birthday, around 1 & a half hours to midnight, I decided to cook myself a bowl of Myojo Chicken Curry noodles with egg as a personal pre-birthday celebration.

Mee and soup base all in!

Longevity noodles?? No lah... this was actually my dinner as I did not eat anything after Dr. Bernard's svc..Not bad right? The egg yolk is still half-boiled, which is how I like it! Sometimes I will accidentally break the yolk or let it overcook, so very glad I haven't lost the skill haha... haven't been cooking instant noodles myself for a long long time liao

Before coming home, I also went to buy a slice of Tiramisu cake specially for myself. At the strike of 12midnight, candle lights up on this Tiramisu cake! (actually it was about 5minutes past already... but it's ok, I am a 12.02am baby!!)

Happy birthday to me!!! :)

That night, my brother was the first one who sms-ed me to wish me Happy Birthday. Mei was trying to call in but couldn't get through. And when she finally did, I had a nice nice surprise. Meiling wished me Happy Birthday, then Gary started strumming his guitar in the background and sang a birthday song! Thanks thanks :)
Few hours after that, woke up for service to report for duty. After service, my cell group E151 gave me a card and a pink Esprit tee that says 'Rock Chicks' and 'Rebel Hearts'!! hahahaha....

Isabel and Nan Yen made their way up to the terrace area to find me and give me my present too! Isabel made this Hello Kitty card specially for me! Inside contains lengthy yet very sincere and touching messages from both Bel and Nan Yen!
The present they gave me was a bottle of perfume! Chosen by Nan Yen... I trust her sense of smell :) Thank you Bel & Yen!

Felicia (from W383 formerly) blessed me with Dr. Bernard's book and a friendship bookmark.

These are 2 very cute young members from my cg (from left) - Calista and Jacinta. They are sisters! And you know, Calista is also an usher!

After fellowshipping with my cg, a few of us went down to Tampines Mall to shop around. I bought myself a new brown top from 77th Street. Jacinta wanted to play arcade so we just accompanied her there and watched her as she did her Para-Para Paradise Mix. Then in the evening, went for Alice's birthday celebration. Delicious flame-grilled chicken wings!

I thought I might have to take a cab home, but God is so good... He provided me with free transport. The best thing was, it was my brother and mother who came to fetch me! My brother bought a new car and collected it this very day itself, so I got to sit in his comfy red car!
Oh, Bro Kenneth and his members did something that really touched my heart. They left the celebration around the same time as me, all of them packed into a van. As I was walking towards the car park to find my brother, my phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number. I picked up the call and it turned out to be Huiqin. She just started off with, "Sabrina, got something to tell you"... then in the next moment, all of them in the van sang me a birthday song! Thank you Bro Kenneth and all :)
I didn't go home straight, but went to MacPherson Kopitiam with my bro and mum for supper! Ate fried Hokkien prawn mee!

More chicken wings!

So this was how I spent my birthday in 2006.
