OVER THE WEEKEND

Cell Group:
I had a very nice surprise at sat cell group: Tris and Estee came for makeup! Haha... I was so excited to see Estee and immediately ran up to her and gave her a big hug. She highlighted her hair purple! Cool and happening man! She was also at the wedding but we sat at different tables.

Sunday Service
I woke up with a sore throat. :( A slight pain was already developing the night before after the dinner. Yet I didn't feel very sick. Just made my way to church as usual for ministry. But less than half an hour into my duty, my body started to feel a little strange. Was helping one of the i/cs Sis Belinda to fill water tumblers for the pastors and leaders in the first row, for the musicians as well as the main and side console ministry workers. Yet I felt slightly drowsy and in a daze as I went about my duty. The area around my neck also ached a bit. I thought, oh no, don't tell me I'm coming down with flu?!

After the service, didn't really have time to grab a bite. Wanted to get a bit of food from foyer 3 but didn't cos I had no appetite. After giving BS to one of our youngest members Jonathan (Donny, Wanli, Mark and Steve were at another table next to us), my throat was hurting like crazy. Ate a hotdog right after and took a cab back in the end. I wanted to see a doctor but the clinic that I usually frequented was closed for the day. And the clinic next to it would open only at 7pm in the evening. So I took 2 Panadol and went to sleep.

God is very good, He started healing me of my throat pain in my sleep. Cos the next moment when I woke up, most of the pain had subsided, and I felt much better. Didn't have any symptoms of blocked or runny nose, but as I'm typing here right now, my throat still feels a bit hoarse and a bit itchy, the kind of throat irritation that can make me cough quite a bit. Didn't take MC too, but if I really don't feel well, then I will take.

Back to my work now... many calls to make, many things to do...
