CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

On Monday and Tuesday morning this week, I was at Northland Primary with Lucy and Ephraim to conduct a Character Development Workshop for Primary 5 students. We used the AVA room to conduct 2 workshops per day.

Ephraim did most of the running, while Lucy and I were there to help support. I was also involved in mini dialogue for certain segments. Mainly we taught the children about taking responsibility for the things they say or do and not to make excuses. Parent volunteers were also present to lead the students through craftwork and discusssion worksheets. Some of the craftwork included using coloured markers and ping-pong balls to design an eyeball and then pasting the completed 'eyeball' onto a red, heart-shaped paper to represent 'The Eye of My Heart'.
