Long Lunch Break

Nobody seems to be in a mood for work, at least for now.... contrary to the 45 minutes we usually have for lunch, we had a 2-hour lunch break today! Had laksa... and now I've just eaten a mini Mars bar.

The laksa was from one of the 2 coffeeshops around my workplace that my colleagues and I normally patronise. We have nicknames for each. The one I bought the laksa from is called 'ABC', because directly opposite the coffeeshop is 'ABC Supermarket'. The other coffeeshop we call it 'Nemo', because all its tables have pictures of fishes on them. When we get sick of the food from either place, we will frequent 'Hwang Restaurant', a stall that sells very good cai fan (mixed vegetable rice) at a reasonable price. The dishes have variety and the stall owners are very friendly. Every time they see us, they recognise us. For a period of time now, we have been buying lunch back to office from Hwang Restaurant because 'Nemo' is under renovation. Last week, for a change, I bought a Fillet meal from McDonald's because I haven't eaten Mac for some time.

Think I haven't got enough sleep yet from yesterday...my eyes feel tired. But I have a session at 330pm, so must go prepare now.
