COUNTED!

I finally counted my ang pows last night! To be frank, it did slip my mind again and I only remembered around 2 plus in the morning. Thought of postponing it by 1 day again but decided I'll just stay up for a little while more to open them up otherwise I might just never get down to it!

So I opened them up one by one... got purple notes, red notes hahaha... and some of them were polymer notes! So crisp, so smooth! And I just got another ang pow! My mum just returned home from her cell group meeting and passed me one ang pow from her fellow cg mate. Thank God for the extra financial blessing! :)

Now I'm eating oranges and drinking water as I blog... tomorrow I don't have support duty in the morning, so I can wake up a bit later hee...

Then in the evening tomorrow, family members from my dad's side will be coming over to 'bai nian' and also to have dinner at our place. My dad and brother will be making arrangements to get the food ready. This is a yearly tradition, where my dad's family will come on either a Sat or Sun evening for CNY, even though my dad is the 2nd eldest. We don't really follow through with the custom of visiting each house according to my uncles' or aunts' sibling position, but my dad's elder brother will usually invite everyone over on the first day so all of us will gather there.

Hmmm... wonder what my dad and brother plan to get tomorrow? Last year it was Changi Village nasi lemak... guess it will probably be Hokkien Mee and satay tomorrow... we'll see!
