REPUBLIC FOOD COURT

This evening I met up with one of my ex-school mates from NUS for dinner in Orchard. Think I've mentioned sometime ago last year... she's Liling, the girl who took the same Maths module, Linear Algebra, with me in our first year. The last time we met was around July/August last year when she was still doing temp jobs and I was still searching for a job then. Now it's good that both of us have secured permanent full-time jobs. I've been communicating with her occasionally over MSN, so decided to meet her up tonight.

We went to eat at the Republic Food Court at the 4th level of Wisma Atria. It's my first time eating there and I didn't even know it existed! The only memory I have of Wisma's food court was the former smaller-sized food court that had rather dim lighting. But now the entire place is changed! The ambience is great, and plenty of seats available. I had nasi padang whereas Liling had shrimp dumpling noodle soup and a plate of kaya toast. She hasn't changed much, still loves to watch HK drama serials, loves to eat, loves to sleep, loves to go KTV! We went window shopping around Wisma and Taka after dinner and she, being a food lover (like me haha), bought Tiramisu for dessert. Me didn't buy anything, just looked around and moved on.

Now I'm back home, and 2 siew mai which my mother bought are waiting for me.
