BABY BABY
This afternoon was the one-month old celebration of my cousin's baby daughter, Sarah. See the big big eyes?? She looks so much like her dad (my cousin)!
And this sweet little babe here is Baby Trinity! Trinity is the daughter of another cousin of mine, all from my dad's side. She turned one-month old about a month ago, and I was also there for her baby shower then. She has grown so much bigger, very cute too!
I had thought that I wouldn't be able to make it for Sarah's one-month celebration today because it was a day packed with events one after the other. Attended Bro Keng Hoe and Sis Lixia's wedding in the morning then rushed back home for cell group. When cell ended, it was already about 4pm. Had support duty at Expo this evening, but thought it wouldn't be nice to miss the celebration, so took a cab down to my uncle's place where the celebration was held. Technically speaking, I had only $4 in my wallet to spend so I was hoping that the cab fare wouldn't be ex. And thank God, in the end, the cab fare was simply $4! So after spending about an hour there, my uncle kindly drove me to the MRT station and fetched my parents back home.
Finished support duty at 9pm and came home. My brother came back to visit us and bought satay and this famous Chai Chee mee pok dry with chilli. Really good! Oh, before I forget, when I reached the foot of my block earlier, something weird happened. All the 3 lifts in my block weren't able to go up or down unless someone activated them at the particular level that the lifts were at! I stared helplessly at the lifts as I pushed the button again and again. One was at level 2, another at level 8, and another at level 18. And all just wouldn't move! Finally called my dad who then asked my brother to press for the lift at our unit level and select storey 1 before the lift would come down. Otherwise, I would have to climb the stairs all the way up! Hope such a thing doesn't happen again.
