DRIVING LESSON NO. 3

I'm going to the driving centre for practical lesson this evening. So far I've had 2 lessons, and I'm starting to enjoy driving (still within the circuit).

For lesson 2 last week, my driving instructor was a Chinese guy who went through with me again on steering around bends and keeping to the centre of the lane that the car is travelling in. For one a half hours, I drove round and round the circuit until I lost count how many times I went past the zebra crossing. I am now getting the hang of negotiating bends at a slow speed. Feedback from my instructor was that I am improving! That's comforting...

I also learnt how to brake and stop before an indicated line. Describing it here seems real easy but once in action, it takes some practice to do it well. Later I will be learning about checking blind spots according to the lesson schedule, and perhaps more about negotiating sharp corners.

Now back to preparing some stuff for tomorrow's staff meeting.
