A RELAXING DAY

I am on leave today. :) And will also be on leave tomorrow! And next Monday!

I am now at my brother's house, so that's why I can blog. Hee...

Early this morning, I went for my driving lesson. Today is my Stage 2 assessment, and by the grace of God, I've cleared it! That means, I have achieved the minimum requirements to do lane-changing, make U-turns, go up and down slopes, do safety checks, do directional change, and also drive through the narrow S-courses and crank-courses without mounting kerb. So my instructor moved on to teach me how to do vertical parking today. It was quite fun, using the poles given and the linings on the rear windscreen to judge when I should steer and reverse the car and how not to hit the poles. I am now at subject 23, so when i reach subject 27, I can book for my driving test already.

At the end of my lesson, my brother (who was still on leave after coming back from Tokyo), came to fetch me. Together with him and my mum who was also on leave, we went to Suntec Convention centre for the $9.80 nett porridge buffet lunch. My brother also brought photos of his Japan trip stored in his digital camera for us to see. And the pics taken were so, so beautiful! He and my sis-in-law went to Universal Studios and Disneyland and had a good time trying out their adventurous rides. They also bought goodies and snacks back for us! And for me, my bro bought a cute Hello Kitty tin back! Heard him say there's a toy in it too! I haven't opened up the tin yet, will do so later tonight haha... he actually wanted to get a Doraemon one for me but don't have... but it's okie, Hello Kitty comes first before Doraemon hee...

After lunch, we headed back to my brother's house. Oh, forgot to mention, he actually came back on Wednesday and brought Pepper home that same day. I kind of miss Pepper, so it's a joy to see him again. He appeared to be more relaxed and playful in his own premises and is still ever so excited to see visitors. Haven't seen Pixie too in a long time. Still as handsome as ever with his thick coat of fur. Oh, and Genie! A 2nd cat that my sis-in-law has now! It's what people would call a ginger cat, brownish in colour. Compared to Pixie, Genie is more tame and smaller in size. And the cute thing is, Pepper would kiss Genie on its mouth and play together. An interesting sight :)

Tonight will be a family dinner. My brother and sis-in-law will pop by our place as they are going to his in-laws' side this weekend. Am leaving now... will be back again to update. :)
