Fresh Morning!
I'm awake! But I didn't just get up from bed only now. I was up since 5am. Had things to rush last night but was very tired by the time the clock struck 1am so I went to sleep. Was stirred from my sleep at 5 so I thought I might as well not sleep anymore. Managed to do a bit of stuff from then until now... hope I can concentrate in office today because I'll be staying all the way till 9pm.
Yesterday I had dinner with Nan Yen at Wisma Atria's C-Jade Express. It's newly opened in place of MacDonald's and I tried the 1/2 roasted chicken set meal. Not too bad... Nan Yen actually wanted to try the famous roasted goose bun but it was sold out. So she settled for fish fillet set meal. Both set meals come with fried rice, a little bit of brocoli, a soft drink and a soup called 'Borsche', which tastes sweet and sour, contains carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and looks orangey in colour. But a bit expensive
After dinner we went around to look for gifts. I bought for my dad, brother and sister-in-law (my mum's one already settled) and Nan Yen bought for her colleagues. When I reached home last night, my brother and sister-in-law were at my place with Pepper! :) The 2 of them had just returned from their Bangkok trip and brought Christmas gifts for us! They bought me a very nice ladies' pink bag and pink accessories (a pink watch and a pink-coloured chain with a round, pearly pendant with the picture of a flower on it)! Since they were there, I exchanged gifts with them on the spot... when they reached home, they messaged me to say they liked what I gave them, and my sister-in-law told me it was something she has been always wanting to have but never really searched for one... it's actually 2 mugs that I got for them, and each mug has their name on it respectively and a description of the meaning of their name. Glad they liked them :)
7.42am!! Gonna have my instant noodles now and get changed :)
