GOD IS ABLE
Many things have been happening of late in a short span of time. Changes, adjustments, re-positioning… quite shocking though a bit of it was kind of expected. Then again, some other bits were unexpected…
As of 1 June, N252 is no more… different people will be going in sub-groups to different places. For me, I’ll be going over with 3 others to Bro Tristan’s cell group.
I do feel a bit sad because I won’t be in the same cell together with those whom I am closer to anymore. Friends whom I have known for a long time and seen them grow, friends who had come to CHC with me, friends whom I have known for the last 2 years and had forged strong bonds with… all the ups and downs that we have been through together, the friendship that we’ve share… I know that such a scenario will come someday but just didn’t expect the transition to come so soon and so quickly.
But on a positive note, all things work for the good of those who love God, who have been called according to His purpose. We are called to give thanks in every circumstance for that is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. We need to let go and let God and stay open & flexible for the changes that God is bringing into our lives. Though thoughts of fear and worries started finding their way into my mind a few days before, I thank God for the Word that God spoke through Pastor Kong last night at the launch of Emerge 2006. That God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or think. And that nothing is impossible with God but that with God, all things are possible.
It’s really hard to say goodbye and I will miss this group of beloved friends very dearly. But I know that as we go our separate ways, each of us has a purpose and calling to fulfill in wherever we are placed and by the grace of God, I believe we will go and be a blessing to the people in our new cell groups.

=) i remember how i felt when i left n252. and i think as always, God's timing is perfect. after emerge, its really time for us to not jus talk the talk, but also walk the walk. =)
