OFF TO A FARAWAY LAND

This weekend I'll be off to Bintan with my colleagues. Setting off on Saturday and coming back next Monday.

Bintan is not exactly that far... just about an hour's ferry ride away I think. Tomorrow morning Ephraim will brief us all on the travel and accommodation details, so we'll find out more.

Right now my colleagues are getting all hyped up, discussing what food to bring for dessert. Regina is thinking of bringing century eggs! Lucy just volunteered to make red bean soup for us. A few days ago, Aunt Grace had also prepared a menu for our meals and she will be cooking for us! On top of that, we're going to have a gala dinner on the final night!

One thing is... Lucy and myself have been allotted one mealtime slot to prepare breakfast. When I saw the retreat schedule, I was like 'Huh??!! Make breakfast??'... usually my breakfasts, lunches and dinners are all prepared for me by others... Regina even wanted Lucy to fry bee hoon! Oh well, I've gotta learn then. Since the allotted breakfast time is 730am (INDO time), we've decided to keep it simple: Tuna sandwiches plus beverages. Am very sure they are going to be edible and nice de... after all I used to make coffee for my brother and sandwiches for other functions! hee...

Having Bible study later at YMCA. Isabel's attending too, it's the lesson which both of us are going make-up for. Going out soon in a while's time to buy dinner back with Lilian before I head for YMCA.

My eyes are popping out soon... have been staring at the pc screen all day long prepaing for the retreat. Physically tired, mentally draining... but have to jia you... 3 more days to the retreat!
